Andrew is Head of Innovation Labs at NBC News’ TODAY where we explore new ways to add emerging technologies, engaging social elements and fun activations to our broadcast experience and digital platforms. In our “lab,” we approach every project as an experiment so we can quickly and inexpensively build, measure, and iterate on new technology that supports our brand. One such experiment is the WineBOT: a wine dispenser powered by Twitter hashtags that is used on live TV by Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. Pinzler has over a decade of experience in digital strategy, product management, engineering and business development roles. He has an MBA from Northwestern, a BS in Engineering from Johns Hopkins and his previous employers include Deloitte Consulting, Dow Jones, Bitly and BBC Worldwide. He currently sits on the board of directors for StartupBus.
