All official ONA16 events are free and open to registered attendees. You’ll need a full conference pass for those, as well as any special presentations.

Some events require RSVPs for drink tickets. Unofficial events in the host hotel and around town have availability as noted. Here is the skinny:

Wednesday, Sept. 14

6:30-8 p.m.: Building the Undefeated: An Insider’s Look At the First Six Months of ESPN’s New Vertical. Mineral Rooms B + C (3rd Floor). This event has limited capacity and an RSVP is required.

Thursday, Sept. 15

7:15-8:45 a.m.: You’re #1! First-Timer Breakfast and Orientation. Mineral Rooms B-G (3rd Floor).  For first-time conference attendees only. Your #1 button is required to attend.

6:30-8 p.m.: Opening Night Reception, Ellie Caulkins Opera House, 3 blocks from host hotel, Hyatt Regency Colorado Convention Center. Open to all; must have attendee badge.

Friday, Sept. 15

7:30-9 a.m.: Morning Yoga on the Terrace. Denver City Terrace (5th Floor). Capacity is limited and requires an RSVP.

8-9:30 a.m.: Diversity Breakfast,  Peak’s Lounge (27th Foor). Participants for this breakfast were chosen based on an application process that ended Aug. 29.

8-9 a.m.: ONA Local Student Meet Up, Mineral Foyer (3rd Floor).

4-5 p.m.: ONA Local Attendee Reception, Denver City Terrace (5th Floor). Open to all, but limited space + RSVP required for drink tickets.

6-7 p.m.: International Reception, Mineral Rooms F+G (3rd Floor). Open to all, but limited space + RSVP required for drink tickets.

6-7 p.m.: Educators’ Reception, Mineral Rooms D + E (3rd Floor). Open to all, but limited space + RSVP required for drink tickets.

Saturday, Sept. 17

5-6 p.m.: Diversity Reception, Denver City Terrace (5th Floor). Open to all, but limited space + RSVP required for drink tickets.

7-10 p.m.: Online Journalism Awards Banquet, Los Angeles Ballroom. Tickets required.
