ona16-suggestion-box-logoThe Suggestion Box closed March 31. Check out suggestions here.

ONA16 will aim to share best practices and solutions to common challenges faced by digital journalists around the world. Journalists, technologists, executives, sales teams, educators, students and everyone else related to digital journalism are welcome to submit ideas. The Suggestion Box is our way of inviting ideas for topics and speakers for the conference. Anyone can submit an idea, and multiple submissions are allowed.

Pitches are reviewed by our dynamite Program Team — a hard-working group of volunteers from newsrooms and educational institutions. They examine each and every submission, recommending top picks to ONA staff to include in our conference programming. The majority of our sessions come from this process.

Have more questions, or seeking tips on what ONA is looking for when selecting ideas? Digital Director Trevor Knoblich described what makes for a great pitch, and you can also visit our FAQ page which has even more great tips.
