From hearts and emojis to filters and color wheels, these attempts have transcended traditional language and generated an enormous amount of data about how users\u2019 behaviors on digital platforms are driven by their feelings. Designing for this kind of digital experience could potentially spark greater understanding and empathy between audiences and the media online.
