ONA16 Survival Guide

Getting here and getting around

HotelPicOur conference hotel, the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center, is at 650 15th Street, Denver, Colorado, USA, 80202. Check out our travel recommendations. The least expensive way to get from Denver International Airport to the hotel is using RTD, Denver’s $9 rail and bus service. Our friends at 5280 and our resident foodie Jess Strelitz have pulled together great tips for food in Denver and near the hotel. And make sure to check out this helpful post aimed at your last-minute needs: what to wear, where to find shopping near the hotel (toothbrush? outfit change? bottle of bourbon?) and more.

Making your schedule

When planning out your schedule, you’ve got options: Our responsive conference website looks lovely on your mobile. The interactive schedule on the ONA16 site is the best place to go for live updates and video streaming (where available). If you want to build a schedule, you can use our mobile app. Simply download the Grenadine Event Guide from the iOS or Android stores and use the code ONA16. You’ll receive a print program at registration, but remember, the online schedule is always your most up-to-date option, complete with any last-minute room, program or speaker changes.

Parties, receptions and events

We hope your schedule includes more than just sessions. Check out our definitive list of ONA16 parties and special events, including special receptions, meetups around town and early-morning yoga on the terrace.

Getting online 24/7

We love the internet and, as always, we’re working hard to make sure we’ve got a strong connection throughout our venue by investing in a robust Wi-Fi network. But our audience has befuddled IT support at numerous venues for its ability to blow through more data and bandwidth than those five times our size. So we ask that you only connect two devices on the conference wifi while you’re on the ONA network. We’ll also have support available at the Wi-Fi Help Desk to troubleshoot any connection issues you may have (Wi-Fi only, not general computer issues). We thank you!

Bonus: Online access in the guest rooms is complimentary.

All things ONA16 on social media

We’ve got a lot of ways for you to connect with ONA16 attendees:

Registration and badges

Registration is located on the fourth floor, near the Capitol Ballroom. Our registration desk opens early, from 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday night. This is your best chance to beat the lines and get your badge and conference swag. Registration opens at 7 a.m. on Thursday and 9 a.m. on Friday. We’ll have your badge ready for you; no need for an Eventbrite confirmation.

First time at an ONA conference? We have your back.

We’re so thrilled to welcome nearly 1,000 first-time attendees! On Thursday, join us for breakfast and a welcome session that will help you navigate the conference. Make sure to pick up your #1 button at registration, your access to these events.

Vote for ONA’s Board of Directors

Voting opened today, Sept. 13, for ONA’s 2017 Board of Directors. ONA members, you can find your voting credentials in the ONA member center. You can meet the candidates — digital leaders all — on Thursday at ONA16, during a special VIP meetup (with drinks!) at 4 p.m. in Centennial C.
